THE CHALLENGE WAS How did this deposit get there and how long did it take?

According to locals, it’s a result of an “almost illicit" local shipbuilder dumping the remains of years of activity before he pulled out!

Obviously it didn’t take centuries it’s about 'now rock material' involving drink bottles and other evidence of 20th century activity.

Time to form? Unknown to most the presence of salt ( sea water) in association with a source of lime (sea shells) as well as iron produces a solid rock really quickly. Just throw some salt in a cement mix to see what it does to the speed of setting.

Working backwards – this rock was formed only after the invention of rolls of fence wire,  and you could run the bottles through a bottle collector library to figure out the precise dates before which this deposit could not have existed. Since it also contains plastic, a test of the composition would give you the oldest date such plastics had been invented. The presence of the bone would also certainly give you carbon-14 dating for $400 a pop and we predict you'd get some rather odd results.

PLUS The fact that it has bones embedded solidly into sand, lime, iron mix, mean this bone really does qualify as a fossil – albeit recently formed - again not formed by time, just the right process.

Challenge 1.  Everybody we have shown this to is agrees the fossil and the living frogs are for all practical purposes identical.

Challenge 2. The media as well as many professional scientists label everything evolution, even when it’s not.

It is the in philosophic buzzword, the brainwashing they all accept and fully intend to push on people so they can’t see the facts for the headlines.

Challenge 3. This would be a wacky theory that has no way to test it, since the dinos gone so the untestability means it is not a science theory.

Challenge 4. Fossil and living frogs are identical which means a) there has been no significant evolution; b) they have produced after their own kind; c) this is totally consistent with the biblical statement that God created things to not involve i.e. they produce their own kind (See Genesis 1); and lastly, d) frogs qualify to come under Charles Darwin’s original definition of a living fossil, so they are no help to evolution at all! See if you can find any living creatures that aren't living fossils.

Challenge 1. Solve the problem? A physical solution is to manually clean the pipes but this is labour-intensive and costly. Organic solution  – find a bug, bacteria that eats/dissolves the stuff. Chemical solution – find a substance that dissolves it and puts it back in liquid and prevents re-crystallising, yet does not harm the environment.

As stated the miners who supplied this specimen are desperately hoping you can find a solution for them – remember the old proverb – chemistry is the only science  where there are more solutions than problems.

Challenge 2: Any slow solution will suffer from the problem that “Time is money for those who are trying to make it, not spend it“

Challenge 3: Maximum time to 'crystal coat the vertical plant is less than the lifespan of the plant, and before it rots.

Challenge 4. Ask any Gardener what chemicals they will buy to keep their garden in good nick, and the commonest ones are calcium lime, iron chelates because plants like people need and love iron. Surprisingly to the non gardener, silica is also a vital ingredient used for holding the plant stiff or upright. Plants therefore come fully equipped to absorb all three of these mineral, so don’t be surprised they absorb all these in life and even after death.

What's it made of? The one week old stalactite reacts with hydrochloric acid which makes the bubbles. Therefore it has calcium carbonate in the tite.

Why is it black? One of the key ingredients of our machine is mulch from leaves in the forest. They contain a lot of carbon and dark organic compounds in the leaves have made their way through onto the tite.

Why did it grow? The obvious chemical reaction is that the crushed lime we placed in the plastic pipe has been acted on by both the water, and the leaf mulch with its fungal – bacterial – organic chemical components to produce a solution which when dripping out of the wick becomes calcium carbonate as in all cave tites.

After several years of trying to get this machine to actually work, we have finally outsmarted the moulds and fungus that rotted our wicks and ruined our many experiments...see if you can figure out what we did?

Skeptics on bridge cement? The experiment clearly proves the skeptics' claim wrong. We have basically now shown why even cave stalactites starting with only water, air, calcium carbonate, organics and bacteria can also grow rapidly.

The bridge just provides another source of calcium carbonate for bacteria etc to act on and be transferred into a dripping tite – quickly. Again not time but process.
